Historians - Your first mission is to create a Popplet in your groups on your favourite Curragh Landmark.

The History of The Plains

Group Two
The History of The Clock Tower

Group Three
The History of The Hill of Allen

The History of Kildare Cathedral

The History of The Racecourse

Here are some helpful guidelines for completing your mission.

1. Brainstorm your landmark with your group and decide what kind of things are the most interesting features of your landmark.

2. Research your landmark using the resources page on the blog. There are loads of cool websites, blogs and links to keep you busy!

3. Take a look at the Popplet on the Week One page and decide what you want your Popplet to look like as a group.

4. Using the 'How To...' page on the blog, watch the video titled 'How to make a Popplet'. Jot down a few notes that might help you on your quest.

5. Using your research, the sample Popplet and the How To video, design your Popplet as a group.

6. Present your Popplet to the class!

Remember:

• Try to keep your Popplet as colourful as possible.
• Use a mix of information and pictures to keep your audience interested.
• Don;t forget our 'Rules of Golden Groupwork' listed on the classroom door.
